At the beginning of 2019 we were happy to inform you that there are two new additions to the Stage6 StreetRace Catalogue; currently there are 15 Streetrace cylinders ranging from 50cc to 88cc, for scooters with CVT as well as for mopeds / supermotos with gearbox.
The Streetrace kits are powerful, durable and easy to install, so it’s no surprise that more and more scooter and moped riders use these great cylinder kits to add some oomph to their two-wheelers for everyday cruising.
The Stage6 StreetRace engines are probably the most powerful cylinders for everyday riding, hence the name; in combination with other suitable components the performance can be noticeably increased. Here are our recommendations.
ENGINE SETUP
To exploit the full potential of your Streetrace cylinder, we recommend using a 17,5 mm carburetor and a sport exhaust.
INSTALLATION AND RUN-IN
When mounting your new cylinder, we recommend installing a new spark plug and a new small end bearing as well. Squish clearance is preset by the manufacturer and you only need the supplied cylinder base gasket for installation.
Carburetor settings should be readjusted after installation, though, to avoid piston seizure and related engine damages (use larger jets), the variator (weights + springs) should be readjusted as well.
You should run in the new cylinder for at least 300 km, either with a premix ratio of 1:33 or using auto-lube to ensure stable performance and durability.
The 50cc Stage6 StreetRace range includes 3 models for the following engine types:
The 50cc Stage6 StreetRace kits are road-legal (yay!) and offer good torque and a slight increase in top speed.
Maximum power is 6 / 7 hp, 3 to 4 more than the original engine, and 1 to 2 hp more than comparable 50cc sport cylinders.
The 70cc Stage6 StreetRace kits are not road-legal (depending on country!) and yield significantly improved torque and a considerable increase in top speed.
You will get up to 11 hp with it, 1 to 3 hp more than other 70cc tuning cylinders of the same range.
ENGINE SETUP
To get maximum power out of the 70cc StreetRace kits, you should combine them with a 19 mm carburetor and a sport exhaust, you can also use a racing exhaust if you want to push the high rpm range a bit more.
INSTALLATION AND RUN-IN
Simply follow the recommendations for 50cc cylinders.
The 70cc Stage6 StreetRace range includes 5 models for the following engine types:

The 50cc Stage6 StreetRace kits are road-legal (great!) and offer good torque and a slight increase in top speed.
Maximum power is 8 hp, 3 to 4 more than the original engine, and 1 to 2 hp more than comparable 50cc sport cylinders.

To get the most out of your new 77cc StreetRace kit, we recommend using the following components:
The 77cc Stage6 StreetRace range for supermoto includes 2 models for the following engine types:
The 77cc StreetRace Kits from Stage6 are not street-legal (depending on country of residence); torque is improved substantially, i.e. the engine’s on- and off-the-line acceleration and engine response are clearly improved, in addition the top speed is much higher.
INSTALLATION AND RUN-IN
Installation is very simple, you don#t need to mill or modify the engine case to mount the cylinder.
Carburetor settings should be readjusted after installation, though, to avoid piston seizure and related engine damages (use larger jets).

ENGINE SETUP
To fully realize the over-the-top potential of the 88cc StreetRace kits, we recommend to combine it with the following parts:
The 88cc Stage6 StreetRace range for supermoto includes 2 models for the following engine types:
The 77cc StreetRace Kits from Stage6 are not-roead legal (in a lot of countries). The cylinders are extremely powerful, torque is through the roof over the entire rpm range, this means that on- and off-the-line acceleration and response are greatly improved, and top speed is significantly increased.
