Earlier this year Stage6 added new Big Bore cylinder kits for supermotards to theier already extensive cylinder catalogue, the 77cc and 88cc StreetRace cast iron cylinders.
After several months of development, the tuning specialists now launched their new inclined intake manifold, dsigned to increase the performance of tuned setups.
The CNC-cut intake manifold with large intake tract is available for geared mopeds with Derbi and Minarelli AM6 engine, it is available in black or orange.
Here are a few details.
The Stage6 R/T High Flow Intake Manifold is slightly sloped, so the carburetor can be mounted with a little tilt to the left. This allows for mounting carburetors with large diameters (from 19 to over 30 mm) and racing air filters.
Another strong point of this intake manifold for AM6 / Derbi is the 28mm or 34mm reducer ring / adapter, added to allow for perfectly aligning the inner tract of the intake manifold to the reed valve stuffer.
The crucial advantage of this tuning product is that the incoming air flow is improved (air filter is no longer squeezed in) and gas flow to the cylinder is accelerated. In terms of performance, it means that acceleration is smooth, stable and noticeably stronger.
En complément, les ingénieurs Stage6 préconisent l’adjonction d’une de 5 ou 10 mm qui permettra d’augmenter le volume dans votre bloc moteur et de dégager le transfert arrière de votre cylindre pour des performances toujours plus importantes.
The Stage6 engineers recommend also adding a 5 or 10mm reed valve spacer to increase the volume in your engine block and increase performance even more.
Attention, the Stage6 R/T High Flow intake manifold does not include a rubber adapter for the carb, this way you can get the fitting adapter for your particular carburetor model and size.
