The biggest official 50cc drag racing competition, Scooterpower Weekend, is a must for all fans of 50cc racing! With a program chock full of activities and climate conditions that are usually pretty awesome for racing, Scooterpower Weekend is one of the main meeting points for 2-stroke enthusiasts from all over Europe.
In 2020, it was not possible to hold the event due to the health crisis. This year, thanks to recent relaxations in health measures, the Scooterpower association will be able to host its traditional summer gathering.
As with every Scooterpower Weekend, the official drag races take center stage, and there are also numerous activities such as the 600-meter circuit track, the test stand, the wheelie contest, the custom show and the 50-meter sudden death competition, all of which contribute significantly to the success of this event!
1. Etappe Drag Challenge 2021
This year the ScooterPower Weekend will take place on July 3rd and 4th at the International Kart Track in Salbris. Since Scooterpower Drag Day #1 did not take place, this will be the first leg of the 2021 Drag Challenge.
Despite the relaxation of restrictions that allow outdoor sports competitions for amateurs within the limit of 2500 participants, due to sanitary regulations such as social distancing, the traditional foam party is not possible. This is not the end of the world, though, because the most important thing is to be able to hit the gas again after more than a year!
